  • 2017 PA District 6 Little League Clinic


    Date: March 5, 2017


    Time:12:30 PM to 4:15 PM


    Description:

    Are you interested in becoming trained in the Official Rules of Baseball? Is there some rule or play that you saw and wanted to learn more about? Are you a player, coach or parent who wants to learn more of the rules of baseball so that you may be able to refine your own knowledge of the game of baseball? Do you want to learn how to stay in the game, even though your playing days are over or your child is no longer in the program?

    Whether you're umpiring for the first time or refreshing your skills from past seasons, you'll find simplified descriptions on how to properly umpire a baseball game, applying both Little League rules and umpire mechanics to everyday game situations.

    • Registration begins at 12:30.

    • Class Instruction begins at 1:00pm and runs to approximately 4:15 pm each day.

    • A “fifth week” will occur (date TBD) at the Red Land Little League complex (outdoor clinic).

    • Registration is free, to members of District 6 Little League, although, Donations are accepted to off set the cost of clinic materials.

    •PA 6 Umpire Tom Rawlings is the current Little League Director of Umpire Development. Tom will be on hand to answer your questions regarding new rules and will be as always will be an active member of the instructional staff.

    The Clinic will take place at the Swatara Township Building located at

    599 Eisenhower Blvd.
